Did you think this was going to stop with just one or two jabs??
The Biden administration has decided that most Americans should get a coronavirus booster vaccination eight months after they received their second shot, and could begin offering third shots as early as the third week of September, according to administration officials familiar with the discussions.
Oh, the Biden administration "has decided," has it??
Sorry, I couldn't hear that over the sound of my God-given rights and freedoms.
The first boosters would probably go to nursing home residents, health care workers and emergency workers, who were the first to be vaccinated last winter. They would likely be followed by other older people, then by the general population.
Get ready to become a second-class citizen and be fired from your job if you don't get the booster!
In all, more than 90 million people in the country have been fully vaccinated with Pfizer's product, and more than 64 million with Moderna's. But about 40 percent of the population has still not gotten even a first dose, a problem the administration will need to stay focused on even as it turns to providing boosters.
Yes, "a problem." That's a great way to describe nearly half the nation!
At least we know the NYT journalist that wrote this is unbiased and based in reality:
Yup.
My thoughts? Vaccines are pretty dang awesome and you should get one if you want one... but that doesn't mean I don't have any concerns.
Oh, and I might also note that we're descending into a totalitarian medical dictatorship where people are being forced to jab themselves with emergency-use vaccines for a bug that the vast majority will survive.
Let the great societal experiment continue!
