Here's what you do if the ATF shows up at your door asking to see your guns

ATF shows up to your house looking for a gun you are "not permitted to own," what do you do?

Well, you could call the cops like this Ohio resident did.

Here's what happened (language warning):

Amazing, right?

Dude was crying like a baby!

Don't tase me, bro!!

Full video here.

This happened in 2020, which was the dawn of our lovely authoritarian age, so I'm glad the local police stepped in and did their job here, because this is totally not a federal issue if you ask me.

According to The Columbus Dispatch, the federal officer has filed a lawsuit against Columbus Police for this.

When Burk knocked on the door of the home, a person inside called 911 and read the dispatcher Burk's badge number while refusing to open the door.

According to the lawsuit, this happens routinely and Burk had never had any issue with dispatchers or officers verifying his status as an ATF agent on assignment.

However, in this instance, Burk said the dispatcher told the 911 caller not to answer the door and dispatched Columbus police officers Joseph Fihe, a 20-year member of the division, and Kevin Winchell, who is also a 20-year veteran officer.

Good for these local authorities!

As the federal government continues to grow their power, we'll need more local officials to step in and say enough is enough, like these folks did.

No word on whether this person had their gun grabbed or not.
