Hundreds of “Canine Beings” gather at Berlin train station to advocate for the rights of people who identify as dogs
· Sep 19, 2023 ·

Dude, what do I even say about this?

"Hundreds of people who identify as dogs"?

"Organized by a group called ‘canine beings'"?

"Which advocates for the rights of people who identify as dogs"?

Bro, is this real life?!?!?

Look at how The New York Post covers this story. It's fascinating.

An estimated 1,000 people who prefer to be recognized as not humans, but canines, organized a gathering at the Berlin Potsamer Platz railroad station in Germany, communicating only by howling or barking at one another.

This is how far we've come, people. We've got dog people howling at one another in the streets for social justice, and it looks like they might even have a dog person pride flag. The slippery slope is real.

More from The Post, cuz I'm lost for words.

Experts have called for a differentiation between "therians," people who "identify as a creature other than human," and "furries," individuals who enjoy cosplaying in animal suits."

For example, some therians, short for "therianthrope," might "believe that they are a cat soul reincarnated into a human body," Dr. Elizabeth Fein, an associate professor of psychology at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, previously told The Post.

"Some furries are therians, and some therians are furries, but they are two distinct groups," she noted.

Bro, I never knew there were experts in the field of therianthropes and furries. We sure have come a long way.

And look, I know this is Europe, but it's only a matter of time before this junk becomes more popular over here. We already have dog people in the states, but we run a good year or so behind Europe when it comes to this stuff, so these large gatherings will be here before we know it.

I can't wait until it becomes "transphobic" for people to pass up on these dog people when they're out shopping for pets.

This world is nuts, man.
