Well, our "anti-racist' friend and author Ibram X. Kendi (real name Ibram Henry Rogers) has had to release a new edition of his infamous book How to be an Anti-Racist after enough HR and DEI departments around the country mandated employees to read it.
But now, in the most recent printing, people have noticed that a small, but significant, edit has been made to the book.
Yes, in his original work, the one everyone was forced to buy after the death of George Floyd, Kendi boldly proclaimed that the only answer to past discrimination is discrimination NOW.
Here's the original text:
Kendi has been hit over and over again for his straight-up endorsement of racial discrimination, under the guise of anti-racism, as a solution to racism.
So now, of course, history is being rewritten, and now we'll be told that Kendi never said it because we've always been at war with Eastasia.
Here's the newest edition:
Kendi has gone to great lengths to rewrite and, in his opinion, I'm sure "clarify" what he meant. He throws in that it's "positive" discrimination and talks about equity and inequity.
Basically, he changed his entire thesis because people realized it was racist.
And, according to Lindsay, Kendi changed the Kindle copy too. So if you have the e-book it's been edited for you.
Just another reminder that you should buy physical copies because you don't REALLY own anything digital. They'll go in and erase anything inconvenient to the narrative.
