Twin sisters Jill Justiniani and Erin Cheplak did everything together as children, and it looks like they haven't grown out of that quite yet.
On May 5th, they added a new item to the list of shared experiences: Having babies.
It is a little surprising because what are the odds? But it's like, of course, this would happen to us.
Jill was getting ready to go in for her scheduled C-section at the Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Anaheim when her sister Erin called to let her know that her water had just broken, two weeks before her due date.
To that, Jill said,
They met up at the hospital, where the two sisters prepared to give birth together with the support of their husbands (one of whom is also a twin).
Jill Justinianai had her baby, Oliver, at 6:39 p.m., followed 5 hours later by Erin and her son, Silas, at 11:31 p.m.
Erin's husband Zach said he couldn't believe the kids were the exact same height and weight.
We knew Oliver's numbers....Then the nurse did Silas's weight and length. Exactly the same. 'I said, 'You got to be kidding me,' It was just incredible.
But for real, what are the odds?? They must both take after their moms.
The sisters spent the duration of their hospital stays across the hall from one another before both returning to their homes (that are within 5 minutes of each other, of course!).
Erin said the experience has given them even more for which to be grateful.
We're each other's best friends and to know that our sons are going to grow up with the opportunity for a similar experience is a huge blessing. We're so grateful for that.
