I mean, in this case they're no different than your average American. many of us are in debt. Many of us spend more than we make.
But when you're an illegal guest in this country you'd think you'd be worried about ALSO having six-figure debt.
Even if they were deported tomorrow, as they should be, they'd disappear and never pay their debts. And who's on the hook for that?
