Seriously, though, what is it with Democrats and killing people?
This bill would allow "some adults with a terminal illness to take their own lives with medical help."
From ABC7 Chicago:
Senate Bill 1950, also known as 'Deb's Law' will take effect in September 2026.
It allows terminally ill adults, with a six-month or less prognosis, the option to request a prescription, which they can self-ingest to die on their own terms, from their doctor.
Keep in mind, Democrats these days call themselves "progressives," so don't be surprised if we see some "progress" on this law in the coming years (and by that I mean adding more and more people to the list of eligible assisted suicide patients).
We already saw Canada's progression:
A little closer to home, Oregon has made similar "progress."
