The state of Indiana is being forced to pay for a baby-murderer to get a sex change operation. No joke.
Not the Bee has covered this deranged man before in two separate news stories:
No joke: U.S. District Court Judge Richard Young ruled that Jonathan C. Richardson, who now goes by Autumn Cordellioné and identifies as a baby-killing woman, was a victim of "cruel and unusual punishment" after gender "transition" surgery was denied.
This is all according to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), who were behind this particular mind-blowing lawsuit.
Based on the ruling, Cordellioné must receive this surgery as soon as possible, courtesy of the taxpayer via the Department of Corrections.
Again, in case you missed it: In INDIANA.
"Today marks a significant victory for transgender individuals in Indiana's prisons," ACLU of Indiana's Legal Director, Ken Falk, said in a statement, reported by the Daily Mail. "Denying evidence-based medical care to incarcerated people simply because they are transgender is unconstitutional. We are pleased that the Court agreed."
Cordellioné is currently serving a 55-year sentence for murdering his 11-month stepdaughter in September, 2001. He confessed to strangling the baby to death, calling her "the little f***ing b****."
After he was incarcerated, Cordellioné suddenly began identifying as transgender.
According to the judge, this sex change operation is "medically necessary," and any denial of this procedure would be a violation of the Eighth and Fourteenth Amendments.
"Ms. (sic) Cordellioné has shown that injunctive relief is necessary," the judge wrote. "There is no dispute that gender dysphoria is a serious medical condition under the objective prong."
The judge also pointed out the risk of self-harm (oh no?), saying that Cordellioné was at a "substantial risk of irreparable injury absent of injunctive relief" and may carry out "another attempt to castrate herself (sic) or to die by suicide."
"The evidence shows that she (sic) faces serious risks of severe bodily and psychological harm absent injunctive relief," the judge wrote of Cordellioné.
Let's pause for one moment before we get to the rest of the craziness so I can point out how ridiculous clown world is.
I think we should take a second to note that U.S. federal judges are literally saying things like this now:
Cordellioné — who also identifies as Muslim and has pursued additional legal action over not being allowed to wear a hijab — has a long list of demands titled, "Surgeries to Reach my Ideal Self," including a vaginoplasty, breast implants, butt implants, a brow lift, a brow reduction, a tummy tuck, a uterus transplant, hair removal, and (most importantly) wigs.
Imagine if the government cared about us as much as transgender baby murderers!
