This is a real, resurfaced "Sesame Street" clip from CNN's town hall on racism back in 2020

I'm not joking, this aired in 2020 after the whole Fentanyl Floyd thing went down. They were literally teaching kids about racism and mostly peaceful protests through Sesame Street.

"Elmo wants to end racism, too!"

 

 

One of the lines from the episode that's not in the above clip:

A protest is when people come together to show they are upset and disagree about something. They want to make others aware of the problem. Through protesting, people are able to share their feelings and work together to make things better.

Needless to say, Elmo had his mind blown in this segment, probably because he'd seen these fiery-but-mostly-peaceful protests on the TV.
