Jewish summer camp says it will hide children's gender identities from parents "if they decide to transition at camp," will allow boys to sleep in girls' cabins and vice versa

What the heck is happening at this "Jewish" summer camp where kids are expected to switch their "genders"?

A camp in Washington for Jewish children is making headlines because of its stated policy to allow kids to socially transition genders, meaning girls and boys can pretend to be the opposite sex, and then hide that fact from their parents.

Camp Schechter's website states explicitly that it will comply with children's requests to be treated as another identity, to the point they will be willing to hide it from their parents.

"All individuals at Camp Solomon Schechter possess the right to discuss their gender identity openly, whenever the person desires and with whomever they desire," the statement wrote. "If a camper or staff chooses to identify differently from how they do at home, whether that be using a different name or pronouns, if they decide to transition at camp, or if they choose to disclose their identity to a member of staff, this does not authorize Camp Solomon Schechter to share this information with their parents or guardians."

And the worst part is that policy very clearly states that when it comes to HOUSING at the camp that children will be housed based on their GENDER IDENTITY!

At Camp Solomon Schechter, we bunk campers in cabins based on gender and grade. To support our campers' development, cabin assignments can be made based on gender identity, rather than a camper's sex assigned at birth.

That means a teenage male boy could say he "identifies" as a girl and then proceed to sleep in the same room with real girls and use their showers and private facilities.

Like, are we TRYING to encourage sexual assault? Because that's exactly what this policy does.

Sadly, this seems to be the norm now:
