Back in 2008 when then-Senator Barrack Obama was cruising towards the White House, one man confronted him and went viral for it.

Joe Wurzelbacher of Toledo, Ohio, who became known as Joe the Plumber, has tragically passed away from pancreatic cancer at just 49 years old.

For a certain generation coming of age during the late-Bush and early-Obama years, Joe the Plumber was one of the first political memories for many.

Re-live the viral moment many of us learned about from the Rush Limbaugh program:

Rest in peace, Joe.
