This woman has a daily audience of over 1 million people on MSNBC.

Watch the first minute of this if you can make it through:

I've never seen anyone more ironically named "Joy."

It's fine for hosts to have their biases. But understand that Reid, and MSNBC in general, bills itself as a non-partisan institution that presents the news objectively.

Does this look objective to you?

• The lady is out here calling two Supreme Court justices INSURRECTIONISTS!

• She calls their wives "crazy" and "insurrectionist" as well!

• She says the Court is power hungry for [checks notes] reclaiming its constitutional right to define and uphold law (the literal function of the judiciary) as opposed to nameless bureaucrats in the department of ABC or XYZ.

• She says Trump will be a "king" who will roll back "all the rights that were won in the 20th century."

• She infers that Trump will bring back child labor and enslave black Americans.

• She includes Republican congressmen and governors in the list of people "coming for every single one of our rights."

Does any part of this sound objective??

I've watched conservative news hosts for a long time. Guys like Tucker Carlson have their own bias and weirdness, but they also ask questions, research data, and log evidence to support their conclusions (AKA journalism).

When a right-wing host like Tucker says he's concerned about someone coming for the right to free speech, he can look at the partnership between the White House, FBI, and Big Tech to actively suppress free speech. The evidence is right there!

And yet what I don't hear are hosts like Tucker calling anyone who thinks differently the greatest threat to American life. Tucker could live next to Joy Reid and probably be perfectly happy to let her have her opinions and vote.

But do you think Joy Reid wants any of us who don't think like her to have a voice? Do you think she actually cares about democracy and human rights?

Or does she just want to use her corporate platform in the "news" to silence us and shove her beliefs down our throats?
