None of us wants to imagine this dismal, horrific fate. But it's quite clear Kamala has imagined it at length:

You never ask Kamala if she wants to be president. Even vocalizing it is dangerous. You got to keep quiet.

Having asked the question, however, you have to let Kamala answer. It's part of the rules.

Brennan: Are you prepared to be commander in chief?

VICE PRESIDENT HARRIS: Yes, I am, if necessary - but Joe Biden is going to be fine. Let me tell you something: I work with Joe Biden every day. The work that under Joe Biden's leadership our administration has accomplished is transformative. I think the American people most of all, want a leader who actually gets things done.

Most of that is just drivel. She knows it. We know it. Joe Biden is roughly a thousand years old, and honestly can't seem to walk steadily on even surfaces.

At some times, his days seem numbered in the single digits. It's just the way it is.

No doubt Kamala has been thinking about that a lot.

You can't blame her. She's got to be prepared. Also, she's Kamala Harris, one of the most relentless and avaricious politicians in recent memory. You know she's ruminating on it all the time.

Let's just hope old Joe holds out and gets the boot in 2024.
