Keanu Reeves donated a whopping 70 PERCENT of his Matrix movie salary to Leukemia research 😮

Here's another reason Keanu Reeves has the reputation of being one of the nicest dudes in Hollywood.

Reeves donated 70 percent of his $45 million in earnings from The Matrix to leukemia research in 1999. His sister Kim was diagnosed with the disease in 1991.

"She was always there for me," Keanu said of Kim. "I will always be here for her."

Reeves launched a leukemia research foundation in 2009, though he said he does not "like to attach [his] name to it," and "just let the foundation do what it does."

And Keanu is just going to do what Keanu does.

"[Reeves] also stepped up to become Kim's primary care giver, even going so far as to sell his home so he could move in with her to help out with her recovery," Breitbart reports.

"Kim was fortunate enough to go into remission, but not before Reeves reportedly spent $5 million for her years of treatment."

In case you need more reason why this guy is ridiculously charitable and wholesome, last year Keanu gave $9,000 Rolexes to four stuntmen from John Wick: Chapter 4 (yeah, there's a fourth one coming in March 2023).

There's also a fourth Matrix movie that came out in December, but we don't talk about that...
