Another day, another release from prison, and another deportation scheduled for good ol' Kilmar Abrego Garcia The infamous Salvadoran national, suspected MS-13 gangster, and Democratic Party hero is set to be shipped out of the country again — this time to Uganda.
Just hours earlier on Friday, Abrego Garcia had been released from custody, continuing the legal tug-of-war waged by the Trump administration to deport the criminal illegal alien.
As reported by CBS News:
Hours after Abrego Garcia — who was mistakenly deported to El Salvador earlier this year — was released from pre-trial detention in Tennessee on Friday, his attorneys were sent a court-required notice of his potential deportation to Uganda, the official said.
The notice said he may be deported to the East African country 'no earlier than 72 hours from now,' not including weekends.
That means that, as soon as early next week rolls around, the recently freed Abrego Garcia may be on his way to east Africa.
Earlier this week, it came out that the United States had made a deal with Uganda to take deportees from the US. According to the report, African and non-violent deportees are prefered.
And, while he may not be African, if the left wants to insist this MS-13 adjacent guy isn't a criminal then that's cool. He can go to Africa.
A native of El Salvador, Abrego Garcia was held in a notorious Salvadoran prison for months, before being returned to the U.S. and jailed while awaiting trial on federal human smuggling charges. A judge ruled that he should be released from detention ahead of a trial set for January.
If recent history is any guide, this may not be the last twist in the seemingly never-ending Kilmar saga.
On the bright side, dude's really racking up stamps on his passport.
