It turns out Karine Jean-Pierre lied when she told the press a Parkinson's expert didn't meet with President Biden

One of my many problems with the world of politics is that people expect press secretaries to tell the truth. Occasionally they'll do it, but mostly they're just there to lie to us.

Speaking of, here's Karine Jean-Pierre telling reporters on Tuesday that President Joe Biden didn't meet with a Parkinson's specialist, even though hours later she would admit the opposite.

Press: Dr. Cannard's meeting with Dr. O'Connor ... Can you say whether that one meeting was related to care for the president himself?

KJP: I can say that it was not.

Yeah, uhh...

From the New York Post:

President Biden was seen by neurologist Kevin Cannard, who specializes in Parkinson's disease, at the White House on Jan. 17, press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre admitted late Tuesday — hours after telling reporters the opposite at her regular briefing.

'Because the date was not mentioned in the question, I want to be clear that the Jan. 17 meeting between [presidential physician] Dr. [Kevin] O'Connor and Dr. Cannard was for the president's physical,' Jean-Pierre told the Associated Press

Yup, turns out she just can't stop lying!

As The Daily Caller pointed out, Joe Biden is a Democrat, so legacy media remains entirely uninterested in Karine Jean-Pierre's ridiculous history of pushing falsehoods on Biden's mental fitness. So this won't turn into a scandal, and we won't talk about it for weeks like we would if this had been, say, Kayleigh McEnany or Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
