Comrade Bill de Blasio was very, very angry on Thursday when a statue of George Floyd was defaced by an unknown criminal.
The NYC mayor quickly said the "racist" act had been committed by a "far-right extremist group" because the four vandals had sprayed a neo-Nazi logo on the statue.
Even if the criminals were a few of the tiny number of Nazi neckbeards across the nation, De Blasio and most leftist leaders had a different tune about the desecration of statues over the past few years.
The good mayor had no problem with busts of Columbus, Jefferson, Frederick Douglass, Lincoln, or even Jesus being torn down. In fact, he and his compadres often celebrated such acts as a legitimate form of protest!
The sacred and holy St. George Floyd, however, was apparently a bridge too far.
Not a problem:
Problem:
The internet had some thoughts on this man's blatant double standard:
De Blasio wasn't the only one who was a hypocrite when it comes to protecting Party-approved statues:
The creator of the statue connected the vandalism to the Capitol riot, because this is clown world and these people desperately need a narrative to support their delusions.
"They seem to be very aligned with the things that happened at the Capitol. They seem to be incredibly focused on patriotism, but in my eyes. This was not 'patriotism' this was terrorism."
What a joke. Let's let Nancy Pelosi bring it home!
