If you were hoping Joe Biden would shine some light on the baffling drone situation in the U.S., well, I have a tip for you: Don't.
Reporter: What's the explanation for all those drones over New Jersey? What's behind all of them?
Biden: <long open-mouthed stare>
Biden: Nothing nefarious apparently. But they're checking it all out. I think it's just one - there's a lot of drones authorized that's up there. I think one started and they all got, everybody wanted to get in their deal.

A joint statement from federal agencies this week, meanwhile, indicates there is nothing to be alarmed over:
We assess that the sightings to date include a combination of lawful commercial drones, hobbyist drones, and law enforcement drones, as well as manned fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, and stars mistakenly reported as drones.
Between the unconvincing claims from the spooks and the incoherent statements from President Mummy, I am not sure I feel any better.
