This is just so funny to me. I don't know if these uber-lefties are just, like, the worst liars in the world or if they're really, really unaware.
President-Elect Trump's nomination of Pete Hegseth to be secretary of defense has leftists in the Pentagon crying salty, delicious tears. Perhaps the biggest loser of the bunch is the man Hegseth is replacing, Lloyd Austin.
Austin told Bloomberg that the military ISN'T woke, responding to Trump's accusations.
Austin, who's in Germany for a meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group on Thursday, dismissed the notion that the military is 'woke,' saying 'you probably couldn't get two people to provide the same definition of ‘woke' because nobody really knows what that is.'
Wait, so he says the military isn't woke but also he doesn't know what "woke" means?
'The United States of America has a military that reflects the United States of America — we are a diverse country, we will have a diverse military,' Austin, the first Black US defense secretary, said in an interview with Bloomberg News.
Austin added that it was important to ensure that every person in the military feels they're a welcome part of the effort. But that doesn't always happen naturally, he said, so 'sometimes you have to educate, you have to have the right policies. And when you do, people feel good about the team that they're on.'
We're not woke, we're just pushing diversity goals, DEI principles, platitudinous policies about "looking like America," and educating our soldiers on things like "white rage."
Nothing woke going on here!

That's just a smattering of examples of what Lloyd Austin would call "not woke."
