Totally normal: A local Democrat in Richmond, Virginia suggested he was bringing dynamite to an Andy Ngo event

Andy Ngo was scheduled to speak in Richmond, Virginia, this week. Unsurprisingly there was a backlash from local progressives to this news.

But this goes far beyond "backlash" and into the territory of dangerous, potentially violent extremism:

Jimmie Lee Jarvis, a member of [the Richmond City Democratic Committee], the official Democrat Party group in Richmond, Va., posted a bomb threat against my live speaking event in the area tonight.

It's true. Here's the tweet of this local Democrat suggesting he was bringing potential explosives to the event:

A Jimmie Jarvis is listed as a member of the RCDC, as well as a donor to the group, and has been identified in news reports as a member of the committee.

Following the apparent bomb threat, Jarvis suggested supporters of Ngo were "soft" and accused them of being "Nazis."

Ngo's speaking event in Richmond had earlier experienced multiple cancellations amid controversy over his appearance in the city:

The speaking event, put on by Common Sense Society and the Virginia Council, was later held at a third venue.
