I am very interested to see how this case of abortion being left up to the states works out in the real world.
Louisiana has strict abortion laws -- so strict that it's illegal for a doctor in another state to send abortion pills across state lines to kill babies with.
SO extreme, right?

Well, this has led to a major post-Roe showdown between Louisiana and the State of New York.
You see, a new grandma in Louisiana was not excited about being a grandmother. So, even with the daughter wanting to keep the baby -- she was planning a baby shower and everything -- mom called up an abortionist in New York and procured an abortion medication and then pressured her daughter into killing her child.
Absolutely awful and tragic. And totally illegal in Louisiana.
Which is why we have this:
Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill signed an extradition form earlier this month for Dr. Margaret Carpenter to appear, following a formal indictment from a grand jury for prescribing and sending the abortion pill within state boundaries in violation of the law.
Abortion is banned in Louisiana with exceptions for rape and incest. The two drugs used for medication abortions — mifepristone and misoprostol — are currently classified as Schedule IV controlled substances in the Pelican State.
So, that's the background. Louisiana needs to enforce their laws, and New York wants to protect "doctors" who are "just doing their job." (Murder, that's their job).
Let's check out these competing governors video messages to the public.
Yep. Makes perfect sense. A young lady got pregnant, was excited to have the baby, planned a gender reveal, then her mom and this doctor conspired to kill the baby.
Absolutely tragic and senseless.
Unless you're a Democrat. Then it's totally cool.
Hochul stands by her view that because abortion was once legal nationwide, it must continue to be treated that way. She's obviously wrong, and the presence of evil in her words goes without saying.
This is a real legal showdown, too!
Carpenter's is a first-of-its-kind case that will test conflicting state laws. New York has a 'shield law' in place that prevents health care providers from being subject to out of state investigations and prosecutions for transporting abortion medication.
They're burning people in the subway in New York, and Hochul's primary duty seems to be protecting murderous doctors from facing the consequences of their actions.
