Bobby's done it again!

Kraft Heinz is a food GIANT, manufacturing products such as Jell-O, Kool-Aid, Crystal Light, A1, Lunchables, Oscar Mayer, and more. Of course, we can't forget Kraft Mac & Cheese, and Heinz's condiments.

From Kraft Heinz:

Today, The Kraft Heinz Company announced it will not launch any new products in the U.S. with Food, Drug & Cosmetic (FD&C) colors, effective immediately. The Company also announced it will remove the remaining FD&C colors from its U.S. product portfolio before the end of 2027. Already, nearly 90 percent of Kraft Heinz's U.S. products are free of FD&C colors (by Net Sales).

Their North American President had this to say:

As a food company with a 150+ year heritage, we are continuously evolving our recipes, products, and portfolio to deliver superiority to consumers and customers ... The vast majority of our products use natural or no colors, and we've been on a journey to reduce our use of FD&C colors across the remainder of our portfolio. In fact, we removed artificial colors, preservatives, and flavors from our beloved Kraft Mac & Cheese back in 2016. Our iconic Heinz Tomato Ketchup has never had artificial dyes - the red color comes simply from the world's best tomatoes. Above all, we are focused on providing nutritious, affordable, and great-tasting food for Americans and this is a privilege we don't take lightly.

Kraft Heinz is one of the first big US food companies to commit to this removing of artificial dyes, and they may be setting a trend or simply getting out ahead of future bans on these dyes.

Never did I ever think it would be a Republican administration taking care of our food like this ... with a Kennedy at the helm.

What a time to be alive!
