This weekend, people accused a man at the Vegas Punk Rock Bowling & Music Festival of being a Nazi simply because he had what looked like the "SS" logo on his shirt, which seemed to identify him as a Nazi sympathizer, or at least a fan of the Schutzstaffel.

Here's how they handled him.

[Warning: Language, violence]

So is the guy really a Nazi? Or did those people just beat up a guy for wearing a motorcycle shop t-shirt?

Well, according to the news side of Casino.org,

The man's T-shirt logo was identified as advertising the Dago Choppers, a self-effacing nickname chosen by the Italian founders of Venice Choppers, a motorcycle shop in Venice, Calif. once associated with the Hells Angels.

Dago Choppers burned down in the '90s and the business no longer exists, but it was an iconic brand throughout the '70s and '80s. You can still find old clothes and merch for sale on the internet.

The Dago Choppers logo was provocative on purpose. A random guy cleaning out his closet in 2009 even warned people on a duck hunting forum not to wear the clothes in public "without a very good reason." 😂

It used to be commonplace for biker gangs to use Viking/warrior imagery that the Nazis also used. Likewise, old-school punk rockers used to flaunt all sorts of weird symbols to show that they were edgy.

But now the punk rockers are all snowflakes.

Sad!
