One dog's sympathy resulted in expensive vet bills and a limp that could not be diagnosed. Some animals are known to mimic human behavior but this particular dog has taken it to the next level.

Russell Jones spent hundreds of dollars at the vet trying to get his injured, limping dog healed. Turns out, the dog was not injured at all. The dog had been FAKING a limp to mimic its owner, who had a fractured leg that was in a cast.

According to the SkyNews Australia article, after X-rays and rounds of examination by doctors, Russell discovered that there was no physical injury to be found anywhere on the dog. They determined that because his limping started shortly after Russell's own injury, the doggo was simply imitating his owner, most possibly, out of sympathy.

One thing is for certain, we do not deserve dogs. 😭
