Multiple online outlets are reporting a massive explosion near Oxford, UK, which occurred shortly after a thunderstorm. Local residents reported a loud bang, followed by the explosion, which was caught on camera and shows large flames erupting against the dark night sky.

UPDATE: The following statement has been made which indicates that a "digester tank" was struck by lightning, causing the biogas within to ignite. Yikes. That sounds dangerous, and pretty smelly:
