Watch a massive gang of thieves stroll through a San Fran suburb ransacking cars without a care in the world

It cannot be repeated often enough: It's getting worse in California. Much worse. Much, much worse.

A Ring doorbell captures terrifying scenes in the Californian city of Antioch, as a gang of at least eight masked people ransacked parked cars in the middle of the night, plundering whatever they could find.

Residents said they were woken by the commotion at 2am on July 6, but were too frightened to confront the gang.

Now, normally you want to encourage citizens whenever possible to step up, defend their neighborhoods, and as best they can help bring an end to depraved criminality like this.

But in this case it was wise to stay indoors. This was like a literal football team of thieves walking down the street.

Anthropologists in northern California are watching this all excited like:

The police, meanwhile, are absolutely, totally, completely on top of the matter, with local Sgt. Price Kendall clearly intent on pursuing the crooks responsible for this rampage:

He did not say whether any arrests had been made, but noted that many of the cars appeared to be unlocked.

So weird that people are fleeing this state in droves:

Can't imagine why!
