Mayor Pete on Ohio train disaster: "I was mayor of my hometown for eight years. We dealt with a lot of disasters." 🥴

Don't worry guys, Mayor Pete is on the case!

Transportation Secretary Buttigieg has taken a lot of heat for absolutely crapping the bed over and over again in his job, so much so that even George Stephanopolous has noticed.

In this clip, Mayor Pete defends his inactions by citing his time as Mayor of South Bend, Indiana.

Seriously.

Yep, all those South Bend disasters that took place under Buttigieg's watch. Like that time when his city had so many potholes that Domino's Pizza had to fill them. Or when Notre Dame had to play Bama for the football National Title.

There is an environmental disaster unlike any in my lifetime happening now in Ohio and Mayor Pete thinks that his time as Mayor of South Bend makes him qualified to lead the transportation infrastructure of the entire USA.

That's like saying you're qualified to join SEAL Team 6 because you played Call of Duty a few times back in the day.

We know that you only got the job because you're gay, Pete. Why don't you just admit that you don't know what you're doing and leave with dignity?
