Here's to hoping this is NOT included in any US-China trade deals.
McDonald's China, for reasons we cannot even presume to know or understand, is releasing a limited edition Spamburger topped with crushed Oreo cookies.
Hey, we heard it on Fox, so it has to be true, right?!
They are reported to be producing only 400,000 of these barf inducing hybrids (maybe because they want to limit their liability?!)
Who thinks this stuff up? What marketing genius did the research and deemed this a good idea?
ODDLY ENOUGH it's not the first time someone has floated this bastardization of flavors. Half a decade ago, some photoshop wizard published a pic of Spam Oreos "Made with 100% Spam" and the internet gobbled it up.
The WrecklessEating YouTube channel even posted a "Will It Cookie?" segment that garnered nearly 40k views, in which the host makes the bold claim that it would be "the very last flavor that they would ever make, absolutely ever."
So is this latest iteration of this disgusting combo just a marketing ploy? Is it just another internet hoax?
Or will it be a marketing miracle?
Who will try it at home and let us know how it goes?!
