Jason Christmas of Southfield, Michigan called an Uber to take him to Huntington Bank and asked the driver to wait outside while he ran in. Unbeknownst to the driver, Christmas went in to rob the bank.

The Uber driver drove Christmas home after the robbery, and then went on his merry way.

Shortly thereafter, the Uber driver was pulled over by multiple police officers, guns drawn, which had to be quite the shock.

The police quickly discovered what had happened and pulled the Uber driver's records to find Christmas's name and address.

At first when the officers encountered Christmas, they thought that he might have been shot or injured in the robbery. He was covered in red liquid, but what they thought was blood turned out to be red dye from the dye packs the tellers had put inside the money bundles.

He was literally caught red handed.

The best part of the story is that Christmas had called the ride share because his driver's license was expired, and he didn't want to get caught driving without one — while robbing a bank.
