Milestone approaching: The U.S. nearly has a majority of states with permit-free constitutional carry ✊

In many countries it is virtually impossible to get your hands on a gun to defend yourself. In the very exceptional United States, however, it'll probably soon be the case that you can cross a majority of state borders and carry your gun with you wherever you go:

Today, Governor Mike DeWine signed Senate Bill 215 into law. This makes Ohio the 23rd constitutional carry state, and the second to join that group in 2022. Constitutional carry empowers law-abiding citizens who are already otherwise eligible to obtain a carry permit to exercise their right-to-carry without having to go through government red tape and delays.

This is very good news indeed. While state laws on constitutional carry might vary, they recognize that the government has spent the last 200+ years trying to regulate the 2nd Amendment away... and the dangers that poses to freedom, whether gun control activists like it or not.

It's your God-given right to utilize a firearm to defend yourself, your family and friends, and your community—whether that be from a would-be murderer or a despotic government—and there is little reason at all to believe that an increase in carrying, even no-permit concealed carrying, will drive up crime.

Indeed, data for several decades may support the opposite conclusion: That an increase in concealed carrying may drive down, or at the very least have no effect on, violent crime rates. That may be because violent criminals are more afraid to blast innocents when those innocents may be riding with duel Glock 19s on their hips.

Consider:

If you live in a constitutional carry state, congratulations! If you don't, call up your representatives and demand it!
