Peggy Flanagan is the lieutenant governor of the state of Minnesota, a Democrat, and, apparently, a horrible parent.

When speaking in favor of gender-affirming health care, which often results in mutilation, castration, and permanent damage to children, Flanagan made the most bizarre parenting suggestion in history.

When our children tell us who they are, it is our job as grown-ups to listen and to believe them. That's what it means to be a good parent.

I had to look it up, surely this statement of ignorance comes from someone who has never had a child themselves. But no, apparently she does have a kid.

But what kind of advice is this? Have you ever met a kid??

Parents are supposed to raise their children. That means telling them no when they want to be a unicorn princess who eats cupcakes whenever she dang wants.

Not this.

Anyone with authority is an oppressor in the woke mindset (except liberal lieutenant governors, that is). They want to "liberate" your kids – to set them free to do whatever they wish.

Any parent (except liberal lieutenant governors, that is) could tell you how that experiment will end.
