It's good to see some Republicans actually take their job seriously, and Andrew Bailey as Mizzou's attorney general may be the best at it.
The conservative is demanding Planned Parenthood stop dispensing abortion pills, which are responsible for the vast majority of all murders in the womb.
From The Christian Post:
In an order released last Wednesday, Missouri's Republican Attorney General Andrew Bailey informed Planned Parenthood - Great Rivers that it was 'hereby ordered under penalty of law not to perform any chemical abortions in Missouri' because it wasn't in compliance with a state law requiring abortion clinics to have 'a valid plan to treat complications from chemically induced abortions.' Bailey cited statistics finding that 'up to 4.6% of women who receive chemical abortions are forced to seek medical attention.'
'Missouri law requires you to adopt an approved plan to treat complications when using any chemical βin which more than 1 percent of the drug or chemical required surgical intervention after its administration,'' he wrote. 'You do not have an approved plan in place.'
This is what real conservative leadership looks like.
Bailey is also suing Planned Parenthood for allegedly trafficking minors across state lines for abortions.
And if there was any doubt, Bailey refers to Planned Parenthood as "an institution of evil."
While the abortion pill is not yet illegal in the state, Bailey is nickel-and-diming Planned Parenthood out of business by holding them to extremely strict standards of care. They can't just pass the pills out like candy and send the "patients" (murderers) home.
Bailey is going to make this as difficult to do as possible within the confines of the law.
The ghouls at Planned Parenthood responded to Bailey's letter by calling it an "unfounded political attack."
Joke's on them, it is very well-founded.
Planned Parenthood murders babies and Bailey wants to stop it.
