I get it, I get it, some of y'all aren't dessert people. But why do you have to steal our ideas and make them salty and disappointing? Just come up with your own thing.
A charcuterie chalet, according to the pictures I've found on the internet, is just a gingerbread house but made with assorted crackers, meats, and cheeses. Instead of sugary things like gumdrops, they're decorated with gross things like capers and olives.
Here are a few of the best examples.
Admittedly, some of these look really pretty, but at the same time, they're like sad beige gingerbread houses.
It's just a little disappointing.
Like if you ask someone to bring a cake to a party and instead they bring this:
