Polk County deputies are searching for a pair of thieves who ripped off the Mulberry, Florida, Dollar General.
And just like famous criminals of the past, such as Al "Scarface" Capone and George "Babyface" Nelson, the pair have received nicknames from law enforcement officials that they probably aren't going to like too much.
Meet Mr. Clean and his number two, Ms. Dookie:
Why would ripping off a Dollar General merit such maligning monikers?
It was all in the method, and here's how they did it:
Ms. Dookie distracted the store employees by -- you ready for this? -- dropping her pants and laying her namesake right in the middle of the store.
Meanwhile, Mr. Clean loaded up $500 worth of cleaning supplies, along with some Natty Ice, and the couple bolted out the front door.
And that's how we got Mr. Clean and Ms. Dookie!
Seriously, the quality of dumb criminals today is just circling the toilet.
The Polk County Sheriff's office posted a call for information on Facebook:
At around noon on December 18th, two people walked into the Family Dollar store at 2170 Bailey Rd, Mulberry, and commenced to thievery.
The suspects were a man and a woman, and the played different roles as they conspired in their retail theft. Very different roles.
The man walked around the store gathering nearly $500 worth of merchandise (like lots of Gain, Tide, and Clorox products) whilst the woman caused a distraction for employees by using the restroom...without going to the restroom. The floor was her restroom. And an employee had to clean that...stuff up.
We....kid you not.
The woman and the man fled the area in a white Ford van.
