Remember literally yesterday, when the commies wanted to 1984 this statue of William Penn from the site of his home in the city he founded?

Yeah, the Biden admin's park service was gonna "rehabilitate" Welcome Park in Philadelphia by removing the statue of William Penn, the founder of Pennsylvania and Philadelphia.

Then everyone got angry at them and they decided they couldn't get away with this level of erasure... yet.

We told you that it wouldn't stop at Confederate statues — that they would come for other old white men — but we were mocked into oblivion. Yet here we are catching wind of a Biden administration plan which would've done exactly that.

On Monday evening, the [National Park Service] said the proposal, "which was released prematurely and had not been subject to a complete internal agency review, is being retracted. No changes to the William Penn statue are planned."

The park service said it remains committed to rehabilitating Welcome Park as the nation prepares to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence in 2026 and will consider options for refurbishing the park in coming years.

Question: The fact that it was "released prematurely," does that mean you didn't want us to see it or you hadn't had a chance to look it over? Because my guess is you didn't want us to see it.

Y'all were gonna replace William Penn's statue with a Native American. A Native American who, if we're being honest, was likely treated 100% fairly by the Quaker Penn. See, unlike in your fantasies, Penn was actually quite friendly to the natives. Penn believed in religious tolerance and pacifism, signed a peace treaty with the natives, and paid them good money for their land. But either you ignored that because you wanted to tear down another statue of a white dude or you just plain didn't know history (and you wanted to tear down a statue of a white dude).

Governor Shapiro chimed in on the issue:

I'll take Shapiro's words with a grain of salt here, because I don't think he would've cared if nobody had complained.

But good for us for standing up for what's right. There are plenty more statues of dead white men the lefties would love to tear down. They hate America's history, our progress, and our world dominance, and they'll do anything to erase it.

But we won't let ‘em. 😤
