Mayor Eric Adams says migrant crisis will "destroy New York City" ... is he a Republican now??

Okay, this migrant crisis story out of New York City just keeps getting better. Now they know, thanks to great governors down in Florida and Texas, what it's like to be a border state with migrants flowing in like there's no tomorrow.

And the result, after years of claiming to be a sanctuary city?

"Will destroy New York City."

Like, I don't want to diss on the migrants because that's not what we're here for, but these flaming libs who thought this was all just fun and games allowing illegal immigrants into conservative states and then calling themselves progressive for supporting it — they're getting a little taste of reality, aren't they?

Here's Mayor Adams at a town hall last night:

I'm gonna tell you something New Yorkers, never in my life have I had a problem that I didn't see an ending to. I don't see an ending to this. I don't see an ending to this. This issue will destroy New York City. Destroy New York City. We're getting 10,000 migrants a month. One time we were just getting Venezuela. Now we're getting Ecuador. Now we're getting Russian-speaking coming through Mexico. Now we're getting Western Africa. Now we're getting people from all over the globe have made their minds up that they're going to come through the southern part of the border and come into New York City. And everyone is saying it's New York City's problem. Every community in this city is going to be impacted. We got a $12 billion deficit that we're going to have to cut every service in this city is going to be impacted.

Sounds like someone I know, just can't put my finger on it…

So while the migrants suffer, not cool for them even though they came here illegally, we end up teaching the libs a fine lesson in politics: If you can talk the talk then you best walk the walk.

And it looks here as if "progressivism" is all about the talk and not so much about the walk.
