Getting ready for war: China is now expanding its military draft
· Apr 15, 2023 · NottheBee.com

You never want a country like China at a state of peak military readiness. You just don't. It's a bad sign.

And my friends, I don't think I have to tell you that this looks an awful lot like peak military readiness:

Beijing this week announced revisions to its conscription policy and said that should China enter a state of war, veterans and educated college students can expect to be on top of the list to be drafted.

Again, any sort of feint toward military preparedness by our primary geopolitical rival is concerning.

That China wants to start drawing "educated college students" into the draft pool is doubly so.

Why? Because China places huge emphasis on its educated population. It wants as many engineers, doctors, scientists, planners, architects and other scholars as it can get its hands on. It invests huge resources in its educational infrastructure.

If it wants to start funneling all of that spent capital into military buildup, that's not a great sign.

Remember: The Chinese Communist Party is getting bolder and bolder almost by the day.

Bad signs all around. Stay sharp.
