Brutal, nightmarish stuff out of Ohio this week:

A woman allegedly stabbed a 3-year-old boy to death outside an Ohio grocery store in a random attack, according to police.

The boy, Julian, and his mother, Margot Wood, were both stabbed around 3 p.m. Monday in the parking lot of a Giant Eagle in North Olmsted, about 15 miles outside of Cleveland, according to North Olmsted police.

The suspect in the killing is 32-year-old Bionca Ellis, who may have been employed as a government worker in the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services:

Here's the sweet young boy who lost his life in the attack:

A GoFundMe has been set up to support the family; as of Thursday afternoon it had raised just over $186,000 for the family on a $10,000 goal.

Ellis, meanwhile, "is known to the North Olmsted Police Department for a prior offense of theft but has no known violent criminal history."

You won't hear much about this in the media, because it doesn't fit the narrative. But can you imagine if the skin colors were reversed?

As an aside, executions are currently on hold in Ohio. But they do have life sentences.
