I'm starting to really, really like this young man.

Oliver Anthony went viral last week when the song "Rich Men North of Richmond" was shared far and wide on social media after striking a chord with many normal Americans.

He played a show in North Carolina over the weekend where hundreds showed up. The last time he played there, two months ago, Anthony noted, he had about 20 people show up.

To open his concert, Oliver simply pulled out his Bible and quoted from Psalm 37.

Yeah, I like this guy a lot.

The way his voice quivers at this line, realizing the weight of these words and their importance at this moment, it sends chills down your spine:

But the wicked will perish,

Though the Lord's enemy are like the flowers of the field,

They will be consumed, and they will go up in smoke

Pray this man grow closer to the Lord, and pray that the Lord would use His voice to encourage those who hear it.
