At 6:30 in the morning, Orlando Bloom wakes up and does what any normal human does: he checks his sleep app, says good morning to his daughter, and drinks a cocktail of "brain octane oil, a collagen powder for [his] hair and nails, and some protein."
Detailed in a new interview, the actor spends his days with singer Katy Perry in their mansion, which has six bedrooms but TWELVE freaking bathrooms. Bloom has a team that cooks for him and enjoys a "90% plant-based" diet.
Let me expand on the last sentence of this photo:
"I sometimes look at a cow and think, that's the most beautiful thing ever. At some point in time we'll look back and not be able to believe we used to eat meat."
Bloom also takes time to meditate as a practicing Buddhist.
"I'm a Capricorn, so I crave routine. Fortunately my partner is really into that too. I chant for 20 minutes every day, religiously. I've had a Buddhist practice since I was 16, so that's infiltrated my whole being."
Other activities include hiking, listening to Nirvana and Stone Temple Pilots, building Legos, posting inspirational bits to Instagram, and "dreaming about finding roles for myself and others – for minorities and women."
Alas, there was no mention of how many orcs he fells in a given day.
Bloom mentioned his seven-month-old, but also talked about how he needs 8 hours of sleep a day. I assume there's someone hired to do the heavy lifting in nighttime childcare.
He also touched on the election and said American news coverage is "no longer salacious" now that Joe is president.
"As a Brit living in America through this election cycle, I was very challenged. The news is no longer salacious, but there's lots of work to be done. I was super proud of my girl [Perry performed at President Biden's inauguration].
