When I saw this clip of Panther's WR Xavier Legette talking about eating raccoon on Thanksgiving, I couldn't help but laugh at the reaction from Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown and his brother, Equanimeous.
Xavier is from South Carolina, FYI.
Fast-forward to this week, and we found out that coon isn't just a Thanksgiving staple with the Legette fam, it's on the Christmas menu as well. And they must've made a bunch of it, cuz Xavier brought some leftovers to practice this week.
He had teammates and reporters trying it:
You may find this gross, but it sounds like everybody legit enjoyed the meat.
And maybe you would too if you stopped being such a ninny and went and shot yourself a coon and cooked it up.
Just make sure that trash panda doesn't have rabies!
