Playboy has a new strategy to make money by putting a gay guy on this month’s cover

Oct 5th

The porn industry is driving itself into the ground, and I am here for it.

Playboy just featured its "first gay male cover star":

[Warning: Guy wearing a weird bunny outfit]

Sporting the iconic Playboy bunny outfit — heels, black tights, a bow-tie and lingerie topped with bunny ears — social media influencer Bretman Rock has become the first gay man to grace the cover of Playboy Magazine.

To translate, a magazine that exists to sexually excite men with nude women is now hoping to make a profit by [checks notes] showing men pictures of half-naked gay dudes in rabbit costumes.

In a Twitter post, Playboy, which was founded in 1953 and transitioned to digital-only content last year, shared a quote from Rock noting the historic nature of his cover shoot.

"For Playboy to have a male on the cover is a huge deal for the LGBT community, for my brown people community and it's all so surreal," Rock, who is Filipino American, said. "A total ‘is this even f------- happening right now?' type of vibe. And I'm so pretty."

Rock is the third man to appear solo on the cover of the cult-fave publication — known for its high-gloss nude photographs of women — following the magazine's founder, Hugh Hefner, and the musician Bad Bunny, who appeared on Playboy's digital cover in 2020.

It is an absolute joy to see the Woke Monster implode and devour itself from within.

I think I know who they should have on the cover next!
