In another example of how some people just have too much money, Pokemon fans are bidding thousands of dollars on a Cheeto -- yes, a Cheeto.
Sure, it bears an uncanny resemblance to a certain beloved fire-type Pokemon, but it's still just a Cheeto.
Again, thousands of dollars.

The Cheetozard was discovered and preserved by Golden State Collectables back in 2018. They recently rediscovered the Cheeto while cleaning their backroom, and sold it to Arena Club, who included it in a sweepstakes for one lucky buyer.
That buyer has apparently decided to cash in on the Cheetozard, placing it on the auction site Goldin. The current bid is already at $6,750, but with almost 6 days left, it's sure to go much, much higher.
The world of recognizably-shaped Cheetos is a wealthy one. Consider that this Harambe-shaped Cheeto sold for $100,000 in 2017.
Okay, that one totally makes sense.
R.I.P. Harambe

While I have no desire to own a specially-shaped Cheeto, I will be checking my Flamin' Hot Cheetos much more carefully before I eat them from this point forward.
