Poll: 52% of Americans agree with conservative justices on affirmative action decision

Last week, the Supreme Court struck down Affirmative Action in a landmark case dealing with Harvard and UNC college admissions.

After it was struck down, the lefties had their typical meltdown afterward, claiming that the Supreme Court is racist and that black people can't succeed in America unless white people and Asians are discriminated against.

However, according to an ABC/Ipsos poll taken AFTER the Supreme Court ruling, a majority of Americans actually agree with the SCOTUS decision on Affirmative Action.

Looking at each case, a bare majority of Americans (52%) approve of the decision to overturn affirmative action with a third (32%) disapproving. The majority includes majorities of both white (60%) and Asian (58%) Americans. Latino and Hispanic Americans are split on the ruling (40% approve vs. 40% disapprove), and the majority of Black Americans disapprove (52%).

Huh! How about that?

Whites and Asians, the groups that this ruling clearly benefited when the Supreme Court ruled that AA was in violation of the 14th Amendment, support the ruling. Only a slim majority of African Americans disapprove of the court ruling.

52% of Americans think it's a good idea to end ACTUAL systemic racism while the rest of the country still thinks it's totally fine to racially discriminate against whites and Asians.

But if you watched the news or paid attention to Democrats you'd think the number is around 5%. It's a "fringe" and "far right" decision according to Democrats.

What's even more surprising, again, if you buy the narrative, is that for the other two major decisions (on student loans and the bake-the-cake case), more Americans agree with SCOTUS than disagree:

Public sentiment on the other two major Supreme Court decisions โ€” striking down student loan forgiveness (45% approve / 40% disapprove) and denying services to same-sex couples (43% approve / 42% disapprove) โ€” appears to be more strongly connected to partisanship with large differences between Republicans and Democrats. On denying services to same-sex couples, 68% of Republicans approve of the decision compared to only 15% of Democrats. A similar split exists on the overturning the Biden student loan forgiveness plan with 71% of Republicans approving compared to 17% of Democrats.

This is in an ABC poll. Do you really think the framing was fair to conservatives? Do you really think the poll was designed to be neutral? And even with this reality, the lefties still can't grab a majority.

The Left would have you believe this is a rogue court, when in fact it's a pretty moderate body that mostly aligns with the views of average Americans.

The lesson?

Keep pushing!
