Predictably, the Feds passed on prosecuting the Hondurans who killed a bald eagle for dinner

Remember that pair of Honduran nationals who were picked up in Nebraska for killing a bald eagle with the intent of eating it?

I made the joke that "Honduran national" was code for illegal guest of the Biden Administration, and that they probably wouldn't be prosecuted for a felony because they aren't citizens.

The pair only spoke Spanish, and the only documents they had on them were papers from the Honduran consulate.

Well, the joke's over folks.

According to Nebraska sheriff Mike Unger, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has passed on pressing charges against the Hondurans.

"Again, people locally that I've talked to are quite upset, and they wish something could be done. And the federal government is the one that really has the authority and the ability to prosecute these gentlemen to the highest degree," Unger said.

"We have cited them for a simple misdemeanor in Nebraska, which is the most that we can do."

The Biden administration really only wants to send law-abiding American citizens like Catholics to prison.

It's not even fun being right anymore.
