Pro tip: Naming something after anything that happened in the Holocaust is always a bad idea and you shouldn't do it

Before you do anything — anything at all — you should always ask yourself: "Is this thing going to make light of the brutal genocide of six million innocent people in some way?"

If the answer is "yes," then don't do that.

A UK caterer has apologized for naming a hot dog dish after Anne Frank, calling it the "Anne Frankfurter."

The plant-based hot dog from the Viva Veggie Van was put on a menu prepared for a local brewery where the item was set to be served over the weekend.

According to a Tuesday report in the UK's Jewish Chronicle, photos of the menu including the "Anne Frankfurter" began circulating online earlier this week, prompting a backlash.

The whole world right now:

Seriously, I mean...who thought to himself, "This is a great idea. It's okay to do this. Everyone will love it." None of those things is true! And the obviousness of that is just so, well, obvious!
