I'm old enough to remember when Rage Against the Machine was an anti-establishment band.

Unfortunately, that's not what they are today.

I thought I'd check out a recent show of theirs on YouTube since I've never been to Alpine Valley in south-central Wisconsin, but what I saw toward the end of the show put me in straight shock.

Here's the band who "won't do what you tell me" doing exactly what the establishment is telling them to do.

By the way, Rage Alongside the Machine, you can go ahead and remove like half of your songs from Spotify now due to their messages of hate. I heard a few songs of yours even endorse insurrection, and that's, like, really bad!

I really wish I could say I'll never listen to your music again, but that would be a lie.

I, and many other right-wingers, will continue to listen to your music as an inspiration for those who are actually anti-establishment, thank you very much!

Never will I ever see one of your shows though.
