A federal judge overturned Idaho's ban on children's access to "puberty blockers, hormones and surgeries" and the Idaho AG rained down pure πŸ”₯ in response

Because it is is a state filled with mostly sane people, Idaho recently passed a ban on debilitating, irreversible transgender procedures on children. That's baseline sensible policy. Young people should not be subject to that kind of bizarre, awful mutilation.

Then this happened:

[U.S. District Judge B. Lynn Winmill] granted a preliminary injunction Tuesday against the Idaho law known as House Bill 71, which bars those under 18 from accessing puberty blockers, hormones and surgeries.

The law's constitutionality is now pending the outcome of a lawsuit filed by the American Civil Liberties Union on behalf of two Idaho families.

Of course. The ACLU. Always the ACLU.

That decision was bad enough. But Idahoans should thank God they have an attorney general like A.G. RaΓΊl Labrador at the helm, because he is absolutely fired up:

The federal judiciary once endorsed the eugenics movement and forced sterilization of intellectually disabled people. Similarly, Judge Winmill's ruling places children at risk of irreversible harm. History will not look kindly at this decision. We are taking immediate action to appeal this decision and are confident that correction will come. I will never stop fighting for and protecting our most vulnerable children.

Bringing eugenics into the debate is big talk. It's also 100% accurate.

They've done this before and they're doing it again.

Buckle up, Idaho, I think you guys are in for a show β€” and I think you're going to win this one.
