Remember that Texas professor that got fired for teaching basic biology? He just won his job back.

Last summer, we reported on Dr. Johnson Varkey, a biology professor at St. Philip's and the Alamo Community College District, who was fired from his job for teaching basic biological facts about chromosomes and reproduction.

Varkey had been a biology teacher for 20 years and was teaching the same basic biological facts when some students got up and walked out of his class and whined to the administration about gender stuff.

Complaints against Varkey said he has engaged in 'religious preaching, discriminatory comments about homosexuals and transgender individuals, anti-abortion rhetoric, and misogynistic banter' and that his teaching 'pushed beyond the bounds of academic freedom with [his] personal opinions that were offensive to many individuals in the classroom.'

The college fired Varkey.

But First Liberty took up his case and has successfully reached a settlement with St. Philip's and the Alamo Community College District. Kayla Toney, Associate Counsel for First Liberty Institute said,

We are happy that the Alamo Community College District voluntarily reinstated Dr. Varkey.

He is excited by this outcome, and we are glad that ACCD did the right thing. Dr. Varkey looks forward to continuing to educate students at ACCD.

You can bet there will be gender activists crying about the outcome, but at least they'll be learning basic, biological facts in his class instead of the gender voodoo they've picked up on TikTok.

The wins just keep coming!

Don't stop fighting, ladies and gentlemen.
