You guys remember that time in 2020 when CNN ran a segment about Kamala Harris' Indian heritage?
Pepperidge Farm remembers.
My mother, who raised me and my sister, was a proud woman. She was a brown woman. She was a woman with a heavy [Indian] accent.
Yes, ladies and gents, Officer Kamala Harris is the daughter of an Indian woman, and her father is a pale Jamaican man who happens to be the descendant of slave owners. As Joe Biden would put it: "She ain't black."
But Trump is the bad guy for pointing out that Kamala is a phony.
Though when she throws on a black accent and uses black lingo you don't hear too many complaints about her cultural appropriation.
And that's what I call Indian privilege.
